The Microbiological Sampling Plan Analysis Tool
The Microbiological Sampling Plan Analysis Tool is designed to help a user to design and understand the impact of a sampling plan, both on the basis of individual lots and across lots destined for commerce. The tool predicts the probability of rejection for lots having particular mean hazard concentrations, and, when a between-lot contamination distribution is defined, reports the impact of one or more sampling plans on the mean hazard concentration of food in the marketplace, assuming lots that fail to meet the sampling criteria are removed from commerce.
